Bass-Baritone Jamal Moore is from Augusta, Georgia where he participated in various performance ensembles and churches throughout the city. His musical history stretches mainly from the walls of his former chorus room at Davidson Fine Arts Magnet High School under the direction of Dr. James Dunaway and his voice teacher Patti Myers. In 2008, he held the title of State Champion for Boys Solo Region 3-AAA. Jamal studied with Professor Jan Opalach and through the hard work of himself and his teacher, Jamal received the freshman jury award, was invited to sing for the Gateways Music Festival in Rochester, NY, and was cast as Buff in the 2010 winter production of Mozart�s The Impressario. Jamal hopes to one day follow in the footsteps of great singers like William Warfield.
