From time to time WWSF will sponsor unique events that support our mission.

Our first event was “An Intimate Afternoon with George Shirley”, Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at Ciminelli Formal Lounge, Eastman School of Music. George Shirley was our 2020 William Warfield Legacy Award Recipient, National Medal of Arts recipient,  by President Barack Obama, and the First African American tenor to sing leading roles with Metropolitan Opera.
